When our flaw was divine,
One failure was victory,
One plunge crammed their eyes
With chock-full of love and care,
Then we started our life.

When our gaffes were counted up,
Failures got penalized,
The errands outshone the concern
And falls became our own,
We learnt how to lead the life.

And now when we steer:
That your slip-ups are to be paid off,
One crash takes your life,
And responsibilities your own,
We have outlasted our Life.

Best Pals Together

On the way to Dhabaleswar on Sea, Berhampur, in the jungle that goes with the road, four of us, the best pals are freaking out in a jovial mood on a very special day, 1st January 2009.

Driven by the ardor
The feat touched the acme
Made slave to splendor
And mastered the élan
The feel of great and grandeur
Won the self but heart, disown.

Made kismet
Grossed the fame
Became triumphant at the end
But neither could be forlorn nor content!

Life is but a burning candle
It’s a flight from the cradle
To the alley of comatose state
Where no one wins, no one fails
But douse the fire, the cruel fate…

A Stroke of Fear

Is it always chased after?
Ever nearing and never near?

The chimera has outdone the elucidation
Eyes left less convicted than the ear
In the moon-blanched land,
The rustle and clutter have started to breathe
And the eerie has come to the fore.

A sudden yen runs in the vein
Belief tails off
The exigency of the hour
Neither the Almighty nor the Fear

One more confrontation
Fear is far or near?

Illusion

Oft chased but never reached
Seemed nearing but moved farther
The ever crave met never
Scattered everything at the disclose;
It was a delusion.

Cuddled the lust, enjoyed the presence
Became elated, at the wink of glee
Got the whole longed for
But lost everything at the wake;
It was an illusion.

Illusions, albeit emotions transient
With dreams and vigor they fuse our life
To strive and thrive, the vogue never dreamt.
